But need to finish Act III this weekend, see how it all ends, and get the Platinum. I'm bummed that after MW2R there is no way to play MW3 on PS4/PS5 since it hasn't been remade/remastered (hopefully) yet. Loved the view from space when the EMP went off, another cool gaming moment. So when we went to the Gulag and Price was there I was shooocked.

IIRC, they were calling Ghost "Bravo Six" and he kinda sounded like Price and he was working with Soap and I just assumed he got a new codename or something. Wild!ĭid NOT realize that Ghost wasn't Captain Price. I had heard of No Russian as this "controversial" moment in gaming but did not realize how it would actually go in the story. Walking through the White House totally destroyed was a wild experience.ĭid NOT know that No Russian would end with that betrayal, kicking off the whole story. The locations are much more interesting, IMO. Only thing I wish it had were some CGI cutscenes between missions to really flesh out the story rather than the narration over the maplike loading screen. Then, MW2 feels like some Halo 2 energy where they really, really step it up. Overall enjoyed it and I got the Platinum. No Fighting In The War Room was one of the most satisfying progressions with that countdown going.

The helicopter in (I think) Hunted and the final exit in Heat were brutal. Shooting felt good and I played through on Veteran for my first playthrough. I thought, at least via the remaster, it played remarkably well as someone who plays a lot of Destiny. I am just starting the third act, I think.įor MWR, the story didn't blow me away as much as MW2R has but I really, really loved the gameplay. I have heard a lot of positive things before and I knew about the intro to No Russian but other than that had no spoilers for the story (so far). I'm a bit blown away by how good Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is, especially the story.
